How to Flip a Full Griddle in a Consistent Order

Do not pack the griddle simply because there is a small empty gap. Each pancake needs enough room for the spatula to approach and withdraw without catching its neighbour. Treat the combination as recipe-specific quality guidance. Exterior appearance is not a food-safety test, and a bubble is not permission to taste raw batter.

If position one is ready and position two is not, turn position one and continue the inspection. Do not force the second pancake into the schedule merely to preserve numerical order. Say or think “two pending,” inspect three onward, then return to two. The consistent route is a map, not a command to treat visibly different portions as identical.

This example does not assign seconds, griddle settings, or a guaranteed outcome. It gives the batch a readable structure.
